Manisha Chandra, Commissioner and Secretary of the state's Women and Child Development Department, said that a total of 7160 posts including 3155 Anganbadi workers and 4005 Teaghar women are to be recruited in the next six months in the districts and metros of the state.

The recruitment process will be completed within 45 days of the announcement of advertisements in all the districts through the online recruitment process in the next six months. Mehsana district has been selected as a pilot project of the online recruitment process.
