The plan was announced by the presidents of the three wings of the army in the presence of the defense minister at the Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi. Lieutenant Anil Puri said the scheme would reduce the average age of the army. Currently, this age was 3 years which will be reduced to 3 to 4 years. Agneepath Yojana 2022 | Agneepath pay
- - First-year - 30 thousand rupees per mon
- - Second-year - 33 thousand rupees per mon
- - Third-year - Rs. 36,500 per mon
- - Fourth-year - 40 thousand rupees per mon.
From the above package, 30 percent will be deposited separately every month. The government will deposit this amount on its behalf.
At the end of four years of service, each Agniveer will get about Rs 12 lakh (including interest) as a service fund. The service fund will not be subject to income tax.
No allowance but insurance of Rs 48 lakh
Agniveer will not get any kind of allowance like inflation, military service salary etc. But as long as they are in service, they will get insurance cover of Rs 48 lakh.
How many days off?
It is said that the firefighters will get a total of 30 holidays in a year. Also, in case of illness, how many days of leave will be given will be decided on the basis of illness.
25% will be taken in the Indian Army
After completing four years of service, 25 percent of each batch of firefighters will be recruited into the Indian Army. This 25 percent firefighter will be able to serve in the Indian Army for another 25 years.
You will also get a standard 12 certificate
If a young person becomes an Agniveer after passing 10th, he will get the same certificate of 12th education. This means that he will not have to do the 12th separately after completing four years of the scheme.
